A SEAT
WITH A view*
This project delves into the concept of the everyday, the accumulation of experience, and how the individual moment shapes the whole. It reflects on the monotony of routine and the fleeting nature of daily visual experiences.
The work is an exploration of the mundane, but also a reflection on how we engage with the objects around us while immersed in the repetition of everyday patterns. By intertwining visual abstraction with documentary-style sound recordings, A Seat with a View captures sequences of moments, transforming them into a visual code.
While still an ongoing project, A Seat with a View has already garnered positive responses from art professionals for its ability to create a dialogue between the tangible and the intangible. Through this work, I aim to rethink how we perceive the world in motion, making the ordinary extraordinary simply by finding exciting colour pairings - which is the essence of my process.
